Since the Moomin series was born by Tove Jansson, a writer representing Northern Europe Finland.
Known as children's literature, Moomin continues to fascinate people around the
world. Cartoonist, Novelist, and Fairy Tale Writer Born August 9, 1914, in Helsinki, Finland, 1945. The first Moomin series, The Little Troll and the Big Flood was published. In 2015, the manga Moomintroll began serialisation in the British newspaper Evening News. At its peak, it was reprinted in 120 newspapers in 40 countries and became famous. Tove wrote for six years, and his younger brother Lars took over for 15 years. Not only the Moomin series but also picture books, novels for adults, paintings, and many other works have been produced one after another. Tove has received many awards, including the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
